Ahiriko me chattakaṁ vāpi,

My shameless husband was most certainly a mushroom,

उक्खलिकाuk·kha·li·kā मेme देड्डुभंdeḍ·ḍu·bhaṃ वाति।vā·ti

Ukkhalikā me deḍḍubhaṁ vāti.

my mortar wafted like an eel.

Rāgañca ahaṁ dosañca,

Greed and hate sizzle and hiss

चिच्चिटिcic·ci·ṭi चिच्चिटीतिcic·ci·ṭī·ti विहनामि;vi·ha·nā·mi

Cicciṭi cicciṭīti vihanāmi;

as I squelch them.

साsā रुक्खमूलमुपगम्म,ruk·kha·mū·la·mu·pa·gam·ma

Sā rukkhamūlamupagamma,

Having gone to the root of a tree,

अहोa·ho सुखन्तिsu·khan·ti सुखतोsu·kha·to झायामी”ति।jhā·yā·mī

Aho sukhanti sukhato jhāyāmī”ti.

I meditate happily, thinking, “Oh, what bliss!”
