Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

प्रभुpra·bhu निव्यप्रभुःnivyaprabhuḥ पादंpādaṃ चविरूशालमपुरीटशीcavirūśālamapurīṭaśī। जातीनामेवjātīnāmeva मध्येmadh·ye साsā मयाma·yā संस्थापिताभवत्saṃsthāpitābhavat। तथाta·thā तस्याख्वतुद्द्च्तिtasyākhvatuddcti देशाःdeśāḥ संस्थापिताsaṃsthāpitā मयाma·yā।।

prabhu nivyaprabhuḥ pādaṃ cavirūśālamapurīṭaśī| jātīnāmeva madhye sā mayā saṃsthāpitābhavat| tathā tasyākhvatuddcti deśāḥ saṃsthāpitā mayā||

Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

जातिभ्योऽपिjātibhyo'pi चतुदिक्स्थदष्सेभ्याऽपिcatudiksthadaṣsebhyā'pi चca चञ्चलाcañ·ca·lā। साsā मत्सूचmatsūca विधानानिvidhānāni दुव्कुद्याduvkudyā प्थवत्तयत्pthavattayat यतेya·te मामकद्धचाणिmāmakaddhacāṇi पर्याख्यातानिparyākhyātāni तच्जनैःtacjanaiḥ। मामकीनविधानानिmāmakīnavidhānāni नna समाचरितानिsamācaritāni तैःtaiḥ।।

And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

यादशीyādaśī मितिपृव्वेसmitipṛvvesa तेte वाहंvā·haṃ कृतवान्kṛ·ta·vān क्रियांkri·yāṃ। नna पशोश्चpa·śoś·ca करिष्यामिka·riṣ·yā·mi तांtāṃ विधास्येvidhāsye क्रियांkri·yāṃ त्वयिtva·yi सर्व्वघांsarvaghāṃ गहंणोयानांgahaṃṇoyānāṃ कर्म्मेणांkarmeṇāṃ तवta·va कारणात्kā·ra·ṇāt।।

yādaśī mitipṛvvesa te vāhaṃ kṛtavān kriyāṃ| na paśośca kariṣyāmi tāṃ vidhāsye kriyāṃ tvayi sarvvaghāṃ gahaṃṇoyānāṃ karmmeṇāṃ tava kāraṇāt||

And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

त्वन्मध्येtvan·madh·ye स्त्रीstrī यसन्ताyasantā तान्tān पितरोpi·ta·ro भक्तयिव्यतःbhaktayivyataḥ। सन्तानाsan·tā·nā भकच्तयिव्यन्तिbhakactayivyanti खकीयेkhakīye पितरोpi·ta·ro तथाta·thā।। त्वामुtvāmu दिश्यdiśya विचारस्यvi·cā·ras·ya विचास्येऽदच्चvicāsye'dacca साधनsādhana। विकरीष्यामिvikarīṣyāmi सर्व्वेद्चsarvedca तच्छेषंtaccheṣaṃ सर्व्वेवायभिःsarvevāyabhiḥ।।,

tvanmadhye strī yasantā tān pitaro bhaktayivyataḥ| santānā bhakactayivyanti khakīye pitaro tathā|| tvāmu diśya vicārasya vicāsye'dacca sādhana| vikarīṣyāmi sarvvedca taccheṣaṃ sarvvevāyabhiḥ||,

Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.

Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

लचतुदिकस्थजातोनांlacatudikasthajātonāṃ मध्येmadh·ye ध्वस्तांdhvastāṃ विनिन्दितांvininditāṃ त्वांtvāṃ करिष्यामिka·riṣ·yā·mi सर्व्वंघाम्sarvaṃghām अध्वगानांadhvagānāṃ समsama क्षतःkṣataḥ।।

lacatudikasthajātonāṃ madhye dhvastāṃ vininditāṃ tvāṃ kariṣyāmi sarvvaṃghām adhvagānāṃ sama kṣataḥ||

Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

त्वचतुदटिंकाखजातीनांtvacatudaṭiṃkākhajātīnāṃ निन्दाधेणभाnindādheṇabhā जनja·na। रशित्ताविस्मयदेतुखखraśittāvismayadetukhakha त्वंtvaṃ तदानींta·dā·nīṃ भविष्यसिbha·viṣ·ya·si।। यताईyatāī कंkaṃ कापमन्युभ्यांkāpamanyubhyāṃ तिरस्कारेखtiraskārekha मन्युजेmanyuje:। विचारंvi·cā·raṃ तेte करिव्यामीदंkarivyāmīdaṃ न्रूवेऽहंnrūve'haṃ सदाप्रभःsadāprabhaḥ।।
