And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

tadā sa sūci jenaḥ khavastaṃ dhanyā keśān muṇḍayitvā toyena mlāsyati tena sa sūci bhaviṣyati tataḥ sa śivira praveṣṭuṃ śacyati kintu saptadināni khadūvyasya bahiḥ sthāsyati|

And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

सप्तमेक्तिsaptamekti खशिरिसःkhaśirisaḥ कचात्kacāt ्सखणिsakhaṇi स्तुवाःstuvāḥ सव्ाङ्लामानिsavāṅlāmāni चca मुख्डयिव्यतिmukhḍayivyati। खूवसनंkhūvasanaṃ घोत्वाghotvā स्वयंsva·yaṃ तोयेनto·ye·na खात्वाkhātvā सूचिsūci भविष्यतिbha·viṣ·ya·ti।

saptamekti khaśirisaḥ kacāt sakhaṇi stuvāḥ savāṅlāmāni ca mukhḍayivyati| khūvasanaṃ ghotvā svayaṃ toyena khātvā sūci bhaviṣyati|

But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:

खकरुतलस्थम्khakarutalastham अवशःavaśaḥ तैलंtai·laṃ हत्वाhat·vā तस्यtas·ya शोध्यनरस्थśodhyanarastha दच्िणकणेस्यdaciṇakaṇesya परान्तेparānte दच्तिणकराङ्करdactiṇakarāṅkara दक्तिणपादाजुरूdaktiṇapādājurū दषनलेdaṣanale रक्काोपरिrakkāopari दास्यतिdās·ya·ti।

ततःta·taḥ परंpa·raṃ याजकःyā·ja·kaḥ खकरतलस्थतेलमादायkhakaratalasthatelamādāya प्रोध्यनरस्यprodhyanarasya शिरस्यभिषेच्छतिśirasyabhiṣecchati याजकःyā·ja·kaḥ परमेश्वरpa·ra·meś·va·ra सम्मुखेsam·mu·khe तदर्थta·dar·tha पायञ्ित्तंpāyañittaṃ करिष्यतिka·riṣ·ya·ti

tataḥ paraṃ yājakaḥ khakaratalasthatelamādāya prodhyanarasya śirasyabhiṣecchati yājakaḥ parameśvara sammukhe tadartha pāyañittaṃ kariṣyati

And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.

याजकःyā·ja·kaḥ प्रायस्थित्तबलिंprāyasthittabaliṃ दास्यतिdās·ya·ti शोचात्śocāt शोध्यमानस्यśodhyamānasya नरस्छा्ैnaraschāai प्रावस्ित्तेंprāvasitteṃ करिष्यतिka·riṣ·ya·ti तताta·tā दोमबलिंdomabaliṃ दास्यतिdās·ya·ti।

And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

याजकःyā·ja·kaḥ शोध्यजनस्यśodhyajanasya कृतेkṛ·te परमेश्वरस्यpa·ra·meś·va·ras·ya सम्मुखेsam·mu·khe प्रायस्वित्तंprāyasvittaṃ कलमkalama खkha करस्थाkarasthā वशिvaśi तैलंtai·laṃ तच्छिरसिtac·chi·ra·si दास्यतिdās·ya·ti।

yājakaḥ śodhyajanasya kṛte parameśvarasya sammukhe prāyasvittaṃ kalama kha karasthā vaśi tailaṃ tacchirasi dāsyati|

And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.

ततःta·taḥ परंpa·raṃ सsa तत्सामथीनुसारात्tatsāmathīnusārāt प्राप्तयोःprāptayoḥ कपोतयोkapotayo यवपारावतयेyavapārāvataye चेकceka

tataḥ paraṃ sa tatsāmathīnusārāt prāptayoḥ kapotayo yavapārāvataye ceka

And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

दास्यतिdās·ya·ti तेनte·na खसामण्यानुसाराद्khasāmaṇyānusārād यैyai पच्तिणोpactiṇo प्रातprāta, तयोरेकंtayorekaṃ नेषेद्येनneṣedyena सदनंsa·da·naṃ प्रायश्ित्तायम्prāyaśittāyam अन्यच्चan·yac·ca हामाेंhāmāeṃ दास्यतिdās·ya·ti। याजकःyā·ja·kaḥ शाध्यजśādhyaja नछतेnachate

Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.

tataḥ sa tada vema bhañcayiṣyati arthāt tasya yrāvakāsdhūlīḥ sarvvā nagarasya bahi nau~tvācisyalaṃ nāyayivyati| tadda yāvatkālaṃ ruddhaṃ tichetū,

And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

तत्कालेtat·kā·le यःyaḥ कित्kit तदभ्यन्तरंta·dabh·yan·ta·raṃ यातिyā·ti सsa सन्थांsanthāṃ यावद्yā·vad अशुचिंa·śu·ciṃ स्थास्यतिsthās·ya·ti।

tatkāle yaḥ kit tadabhyantaraṃ yāti sa santhāṃ yāvad aśuciṃ sthāsyati|

Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

तद्tad वेश्यनोाveśyanoā लेपनात्lepanāt परंpa·raṃ व्ाधिनावद्धतेतिvādhināvaddhateti चेद्ced याजकोyā·ja·ko वेश्मveś·ma विश्यviśya पश्यतिpaś·ya·ti नहिna·hi याजकस्तद्yājakastad वेष्मveṣma खुचिkhuci वदिष्यतिva·diṣ·ya·ti यतःya·taḥ सsa व्याधिरुप्रणभ्यत्vyādhirupraṇabhyat।

tad veśyanoā lepanāt paraṃ vādhināvaddhateti ced yājako veśma viśya paśyati nahi yājakastad veṣma khuci vadiṣyati yataḥ sa vyādhirupraṇabhyat|

And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
